About This Product:
"I love what you are doing and wish you success. I was the sole carer for many years for my lovely mum-in-law who suffered senile dementia, together with my father-in-law, (lovely man), who was old and frail, I think I would have found your course very helpful on those tough days we had." Mary E
Dear Carer, you are a loving, loyal and beautiful person so never forget that! Those who you care for may not have the ability or the capacity to say ‘thank you’ but I totally appreciate you and thank you for all that you are doing!
Hi, I'm Julie and I live in the UK. I have over 30 years of experience working in the Care sector in hospitals, residential homes and one-to-one in people's own home.
This course is designed for all who are 'unpaid carers' live-in carers or those new to the care profession. It could be adapted to care for all ages and abilities from parents with children to children looking after their elderly parents, caring for the disabled, and everything in between!
My desired outcome for you on completion of the ‘Who Cares for the Carers’ course is for you to have gained confidence in your role as a Carer as well as allowing you to look after your own wellbeing, which in turn could allow you to look after your loved ones in a calm and happy environment. You might also have developed the skills to enable you to handle stressful situations in a calm way.
You will potentially learn self-care techniques to help keep both you and your loved ones well and comfortable but you don’t have to do it all on your own!
At the end of the course, you will find I have provided a list of charities and organisations along with their helplines and website addresses. Remember NEVER be afraid or worried to ask for help!
This course aims to take a holistic approach to the wellbeing of both the people being cared for and just as importantly, the Carers themselves. It aims to provide you with the ‘tools for your toolbox’ which can be pulled out as and when you need them. You will also be provided with handouts and suggested videos that are openly available to watch on YouTube.
It goes way beyond the "if you meditate for 10 minutes a day, everything will be OK" school of thought! Yes, meditation is very important (and does, in fact, form part of this course) but so are the remaining 23 hours and 50 minutes of your day! If these are overloaded with stress and feelings of anxiety then meditation can become meaningless and no longer helpful!
I have formatted my course in a 7-day cycle. This is to give you the freedom and flexibility to create your own week of activities and meditations. It is not a "one size fits all" course and you adapt it to meet your circumstances and situation. So be adventurous, be inspired and be encouraged to try something new and out of your comfort zone, and importantly… remember don’t give up after your first attempt! You may be amazed at the results!
If you would prefer to pay me by BACS or PayPal please contact me at [email protected] and I will send you my payment details. Thank you!
If my course is not for you I offer a 30-day money-back, no questions asked, guaranteed!
BONUS - I have created a private Facebook Group! It's a safe and confidential place to relax, have fun and share your concerns and your joys! We are a growing community of like-minded people! You are all very welcome!! <3

I am passionate about helping people be the best that they can be!
Caring is a profession that is as equally rewarding as it is exhausting and stressful!
In my 30 years plus of working in hospitals, residential care homes and, more recently, as a self-employed carer going into people's homes, I have experienced and have been through the whole range of emotions, the ups and the downs including anxiety and depression.
What I am going to teach you in this course are the things that I really would have found helpful. It is only in recent years that mental health and wellbeing have been taken more seriously.
Experience: I went into nursing when I was 18 years and qualified as a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse (EN/M). I worked as an Assistant Matron in the Methodist Home for the Aged and was "called into the Ministry" and worked as a Salvation Army Officer. I then worked in Residential Care and for the last 6 years have been self-employed and worked one-to-one in clients' own homes.
Education:O-Level English Language and Literature, Enrolled Nurse (Mental), NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services, NVQ Level 3 in Business Management. Level 3 First Aid and Level 2 Principles of Dementia Care.
Other: I have been safeguarding courses and have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Certificate.
I love going for long walks in the Devonshire countryside and enjoy all sorts of crafts such as crochet, knitting, sketching, painting and photography.
